The static electricity can be produced by the use of electrostatic generator. It generates the static electricity by transforming the friction into electricity.
The static charges are produced by using two methods:

1. Triboelectric Effect : When two objects comes close to each other then due to friction the charge is transferred between them and this effect is known as triboelectric effect.
2. Electrostatic Induction : Electrostatic Induction is the phenomenon of redistributing the charges on the surface of an object due to the nearby charges or static electric field. The static electricity generator are based on either of the above mentioned method.
